Super Easy Homemade Ketchup

super easy homemade ketchup

super easy homemade ketchupSummer time means a great garden with a lot of great veggies, including that beautiful red ripen tomato plant.  Or should I say tomato plants.  And boy there can be a huge amount of tomatoes…what to do with them all?  You made a ton of tomato sauce, incorporated food dishes with tomatoes, and what else?  How about a health version of Ketchup? Yes! A healthy version of ketchup that has a lot less sugar and much tastier.  Once you try homemade ketchup, store bought will just not suffice anymore.   You can even be fancy and call it, Artisan Ketchup.  Sounds super fancy and tasty right, LOL.

  1. I never thought of making my own ketchup. This recipe is easy and delicious! Perfect timing as I was thinking to just freeze them all. For some reason, they all ripened at the same time and I have made way too much tomato sauce 🙂

    • Great to hear Jas. Sometimes there’s just only so much tomato sauce one can make and you just need that something else with tomatoes. Enjoy the ketchup. I just made cocktail sauce for shrimp cocktail…took it to a whole new level 🙂
